A New Model for Data Centers

Micro Data. Precisely Built.

LightWeb has developed a megawatt-class data center system built to fit — adaptable to existing structures, purpose-built sites, and constrained footprints without compromising on power, cooling, or network performance.

The Industry Problem

Megawatt-class compute. Without the megawatt-class problems. A megawatt facility is real infrastructure. It runs demanding workloads, supports critical operations, and requires engineering that performs. At that scale, it is also still possible to do it cleanly. No cooling towers. No evaporative water consumption. No demand spike that strains the local grid. Hyperscale operators pull gigawatts and absorb the tradeoffs — utility negotiations, water rights, community opposition, physical sprawl. Our system is designed specifically for the range where those tradeoffs are not inevitable. Grid-compatible power. Closed-loop cooling. A footprint that fits the site, not the other way around.

A System Built to Fit.

A modular system — power, cooling, and network — configured to the site, the load, and the constraints. Adaptable by design, not by exception.

Phase 01
Facility Design

Our system is configured to the site — not rebuilt from zero each time. Power, cooling, structure, and network are coordinated components that adapt to available space, existing infrastructure, and target load.

  • Load-matched power distribution design
  • Closed-loop cooling — no towers required
  • Adaptable to new construction or existing structures
  • Network infrastructure and pathway layout
Phase 02
Build & Install

Every component installed to specification — electrical, mechanical, and network executed as a coordinated system, not a sequence of independent trades working from separate documents.

  • Electrical from service entrance to rack
  • Mechanical installation to closed-loop specification
  • Structured cabling and network termination
  • Applicable to ground-up and retrofit scopes
  • Consistent standards across every installation
Phase 03
Commission & Close

Every system is tested under operational load before handover. Power draw, thermal performance, and network paths are verified against design parameters and documented in full.

  • Integrated systems testing across all disciplines
  • Power demand verification against load profile
  • Cooling performance validation under load
  • Network connectivity verified and documented
  • Full as-built documentation package
Build
"The right system, configured to the site, outperforms anything built to a generic spec."

We started LightWeb because we kept seeing the same thing: operators being sold infrastructure designed for someone else's problems. The overhead, the water systems, the grid demands — none of it was necessary at the scale they were actually building at. It was just what the industry defaulted to.

Our model is built around a system that travels well. The engineering is ours. The standards are consistent. How it gets built on any given site is a conversation — but what gets built, and how it performs, is defined before the first component is ordered and held to that definition through handover.
